Plenty of entertainment for youngsters at 2021 show

We’ve got so much to offer children at the Shropshire County (Livestock and Vintage Machinery) Show - and we think they thoroughly deserve it after working so hard at home during the lockdown.

Children will be spoilt for choice with the entertainment on offer at this year’s show on July 17 at the Greenhous West Mid Showground in Shrewsbury.

And best of all, children under 16 go free when accompanied by an adult.

We will have our favourite ‘wandering’ entertainers on site, who will be amazing kids as they walk around the show site.

Magic Kev regularly performs at the Kidzfield at Glastonbury Festival and at various festivals up and down the country. You may even have seen him on Channel Four’s Come Dine With Me show, where he won first prize!

We’re also thrilled to welcome Jim Millar, aka Juggling Jim, to the showground. He will be showing off his circus skills, including unicycling, diabolo spinning and stilt walking.

Children will also be able to enjoy our funfair, with plenty of rides for both older and younger children.

We will have more than 500 livestock for children to discover, as well as being able to marvel at a fantastic display of vintage machinery.

Families can enjoy our dedicated picnic area as well as on-site refreshments, including, of course, the much loved ice-cream truck!

We know that the show won’t be quite the same as in previous years to ensure we follow all of the necessary restrictions to keep everyone safe, but we have plenty for children to do, see and enjoy.

We all need something to look forward to and this is a fantastic opportunity to introduce children to the agricultural world and give them lots of fun things to do as well.

Tickets for the 2021 Shropshire County (Livestock and Vintage Machinery) Show must be booked in advance, and can be ordered by clicking here.
